As one of my clients, I am available to assist you in any way I can with your Medicare insurance. Open enrollment is nearly here--here's what you need to know:
Medicare Supplement insurance gives you great coverage anywhere in the country, as long as the provider accepts Medicare. However, it does not include Prescription Drug Coverage. In the past, I have been able to find you the best plan to cover your medications. While I can still advise you on your options, the insurance companies have made the decision to remove a broker's ability to apply for you or call the company on your behalf.
A Medicare Advantage plan includes prescription drug coverage, along with some coverage for vision, dental, and hearing. The specific plans available to you depend on your ZIP code or county.
Currently, you need to review your drug coverage for 2027, but my ability to complete and submit the prescription application has been removed. The Scope of Appointment you sent me shares characteristics with a standard authorization form and provides your current medication list, which means medications can absolutely be a part of our conversation. However, because of these new insurance company restrictions, if a plan change is needed, you will need to go directly to the company's website to complete and submit the application yourself.
